Roman Oben began his NFL career with the New York Giants when he was drafted by them in third round of the 1996 NFL draft. He was the first Cameroonian born NFL player to ever be drafted. Oben played four seasons with the New York Giants during which he started 48 of 50 games. In January 2015, Oben was named the NFL Director of Youth & High School Football and he currently holds this position.
