Greenburgh Central School District Starts Search for New Superintendent

Last month at its March 10 meeting, the Greenburgh Central School District Board of Education approved a contract with School Leadership, LLC to assist the district in a search for a new superintendent of schools.

Officials are now ready to begin the process, and the Board has asked representatives from School Leadership to meet with a variety of community and staff groups and individuals to solicit their input on the specifications the Board should use in its search.

These opportunities “include an open community meeting on Wednesday, April 8,” at two locations at 7:00 p.m. The board is holding simultaneous meetings in different locations so that individuals can attend the one that is most convenient for them.

Woodlands High School Cafeteria
475 W. Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale

Theodore Young Community Center
32 Manhattan Avenue, White Plains

Persons unable to attend can provide input by responding to an online survey by April 17, 2015. The survey can be found on the school district website at www.greenburghcsd.org.
