Helen Renck Appointed Assistant VP of Clinical Operations and Patient Safety Officer at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center
The White Plains resident will have oversight of ancillary clinical services and the hospital's Patient Safety Program

Helen Renck, MSN, RN, CJCP, JCC, of White Plains has been appointed Assistant VP of Clinical Operations and Patient Safety Officer at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center, a newly created position at the hospital. In this role, Renck has oversight of ancillary clinical services and the hospital’s Patient Safety Program.
Renck is a certified Joint Commission Professional. She also holds certification in Just Culture, master training certification in Team STEPPS (educational programs that enhance communication, teamwork and patterns of behaviors that impact patient safety) and a certificate in patient safety from Harvard University. She obtained her BSN from the College of New Rochelle and an MSN from Pace University. Prior to joining Phelps, she worked at Hospital for Special Surgery, where she had responsibilities for patient safety, Joint Commission accreditation, quality management and risk management.
