Local White Plains Nonprofit Names New Executive Director
Pro Bono Partnership Announces Nancy Eberhardt, Esq. as Executive Director

The Pro Bono Partnership (the Partnership) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that it has appointed Nancy Eberhardt, Esq. as the organization’s Executive Director. Eberhardt started her tenure at the Partnership in 2003 as a staff attorney, and served as the New Jersey Program Director since 2005.
“Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge and talent to this position,” said Board Chairman Dave Yawman. “She has been instrumental in shaping the Partnership’s current program, and there is certainly no one more committed to our mission. Nancy is the right person, with the right leadership skills, to build on the Partnership’s history of meaningful impact and to grow the Partnership to the next level,” Yawman continued.
For more than 20 years Pro Bono Partnership has been providing free transactional legal services to nonprofit organizations in the tristate area. In that time, the organization has served more than 2,800 nonprofits, strengthening their programs, helping them build capacity to better serve their constituencies, and ultimately making our communities better places to live and work.

“I look forward to beginning the Partnership’s third decade focused on improving our already strong programs through increased engagement with our volunteer lawyers and the nonprofit communities we serve,” said Eberhardt. “Understanding the needs of our clients is critical to providing meaningful assistance in a changing economy, when many individuals and communities may be under increased strain. Fortunately, it’s also been the case that in these uncertain times lawyers are more interested than ever in leveraging their skills to help communities in need. Since its founding, Pro Bono Partnership has been committed to helping them do so in a focused and efficient way, and that’s not going to change.”
Eberhardt was Interim Executive Director since November 1, 2017, after taking the reins from the Partnership’s second Executive Director, Marcia Levy, Esq., who returned to legal academia. Eberhardt has a strong foundation on which to grow the organization, including continuing to raise the Partnership’s profile among the tristate legal community, streamlining operations, and increasing outreach to underserved communities.
