Million Air Westchester Employees Help Give Out Bags Of Food
The company said giving back to the community during this time is something it is passionate about.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Supporting the White Plains Youth Bureau, a team of employees from Million Air Westchester last week donated their time to help assemble food donation bags which will be distributed to those in need during the new coronavirus epidemic.
The employees gathered at Ebersole Skating Rink in White Plains along with other volunteers to help with the distribution of thousands of pounds of food supplied by Feeding Westchester, including canned and dry goods, meats, breads and snacks.
Frank Williams, executive director of the White Plains Youth Bureau, also accepted $25 gift cards to be supplied to families in need.

“We are very grateful for all that Million Air has done for its community," he said. “White Plains is fortunate to have such caring and active volunteers pulling together in these difficult times."

Mayor Tom Roach said the City of White Plains is thankful for friends like Million Air Westchester.
“Since the start of this pandemic we have had so many people step up to help," he said.
Million Air Westchester General Manager Lauren Rones Payne said that volunteering is something the company does.
“Giving back to the community during this time is something we are passionate about whether it is donating masks to White Plains Hospital or helping the Friends of the Youth Bureau," she said.
Million Air employees who volunteered included Brian King, Greg Call, Hector Sanchez, Janette Licastrino and Tamara Pizarro.
Million Air Westchester recently donated 8,000 three-ply surgical respiratory masks and 1,100 KN95 protective face masks to White Plains Hospital, using its aircraft to get them there quickly.
Million Air operates its flagship fixed-base operator at Westchester County Airport where over the last several years it has invested more than $80 million constructing a state-of-the art passenger services terminal and hangar, according to a spokesperson.
