Neighbors Link Announces Annual Spring Benefit with a Mission to Build Welcoming Communities in the Hudson Valley

Mount Kisco, NY – Neighbors Link invites the Hudson Valley community to the organization’s annual benefit, "Festival de Primavera," at the GlenArbor Golf Club on Thursday, May 30, 2024. This year’s benefit honors and celebrates Executive Director Carola Otero Bracco for her two decades of visionary leadership and relentless dedication to championing immigrant integration and empowerment.

“It's a time of gratitude as we acknowledge Carola's profound impact on Neighbors Link, Westchester, and surrounding Hudson Valley counties,” remarks Elisa Burns, MD, Neighbors Link Board Chair. “As we reflect on her impact, we continue to look to Carola’s leadership in building welcoming communities in the Hudson Valley and beyond.”

In a special segment of the evening, the Gabby Rosenfeld Be a Hero Award will be bestowed to Police Officer Eddie Ramirez, Jr., in honor of his exceptional commitment to foster trust and improve communication among the diverse communities of Westchester. Local real estate partners will also be recognized for making it possible to find affordable housing for new arrivals.

“I am deeply moved and honored to share the spotlight with our outstanding community partners,” says Carola Otero Bracco. “Without the dedicated commitment and support from the partners we have developed over the past two decades, Neighbors Link would not have achieved the level of growth and success that we celebrate on this occasion. Now, as New York State has seen an increase in new arrivals, Neighbors Link has taken a leadership role in empowering people with the skills and resources needed to stabilize their lives and settle in new homes. In turn, our entire community has been enriched by the diversity, talents and aspirations of new Americans.”

The event will commence with a reception and strolling dinner at 6:30 pm, followed by a dessert and program segment at 8:00 pm.
