New North White Plains Train Station Garage Opens Oct. 5

The new North White Plains train station garage is scheduled to open Oct. 5, according to Metro-North.

In a post on it Facebook page, Metro-North says the structure features:

• 391 new additional parking spaces (3 floors of permit parking – 2 metered)
• Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
• Installation of new crosswalks
• Improved perimeter lighting
• New artwork installed on the structure
• Scooter Parking available
• Bicycle rakes and Lockers located inside Garage
• A new traffic signal at the intersection of Bond St /Broadway /Otis Ave. allowing for both right and left turns
