Softball

Third baseman Janet Ortiz (White Plains ’09) was top hitter in the Lehman Lightning's 30 game season, starting all games in the 12-18:5-7 campaign, with her batting average of .495, 157 points higher than that of the 2nd highest. Her .912 fielding percentage included 63 putouts, 51 assists, and 11 errors. Ortiz was the C.U.N.Y. player of the week on April 16th.

In the back end of a twin bill at Union on the 25th, freshman 2nd baseman Emily Frawley (White Plains '11) of New Paltz batted 1-3 and made 3 putouts and had 1 assist in the field, in the 8-0 loss.

In the first game of a double win over Centenary on the 25th, left fielder Jamie Klotz (White Plains '11) of Muhlenberg went 1-3 and had 2 RBI in the 10-5 win.

In a 7-4 win at Eastern on the 26th, Kate Smayda (White Plains '09) of Swarthmore batted 2-5, scored a run, and fanned once, while in the 4-2 loss in the nightcap, she hit a double and made 3 putouts in the game.

Baseball

White Plains defeated visiting Mount Vernon 17-5 on April 27 according to Vincent Mercogliano's post on the LoHud Baseball Blog.

Alex Gallo went 2 for 3 with a grand slam and five RBI while Kyle Adams went 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBI for the Tigers.

Archbishop Stepinac lost to visiting All Hollows 3-2, also according to Mercogliano.

Stepinac's Julian Ponce allowed two earned runs in six innings for the no decision. E.J. King went 1 for 2 with a run for the Crusaders.

Boys Lacrosse

Archbishop Stepinac fell to visiting St. Dominic's 10-9 on April 28 according to highschoolsports.net.
