Pro Bono Partnership New Jersey Program Director

Pro Bono Partnership (the Partnership), a White Plains, NY-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free business and transactional legal help to charitable organizations in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York is pleased to announce the promotion of Alexandra E. Kilduff, Esq. as its New Jersey Program Director. Alexandra has been a Staff Attorney at the Partnership since 2018, and takes the reins of the New Jersey program following the retirement of Christine Michelle Duffy, Esq.

In her new capacity, Alexandra will continue to provide direct legal services to nonprofits, recruit and support the work of volunteer lawyers from the region’s leading corporations and law firms, and develop educational opportunities for nonprofits and volunteers. Additionally, she will oversee the Partnership’s programming in New Jersey to ensure that nonprofits across the state have access to the legal services they need to succeed.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Alexandra for the past six years in her role as Staff Attorney, and have seen firsthand her commonsense approach, dedication to the nonprofit community, and commitment to the Partnership’s mission,” said Executive Director Nancy Eberhardt. “From her leadership role in designing and implementing educational events and managing regulatory compliance projects, to her ability to build integral relationships with nonprofit clients and volunteer lawyers, Alexandra has been an indispensable part of our team. Because she knows the Partnership’s capabilities so well, and knows the needs of the nonprofit community, I’m excited for the fresh perspective she will bring to the role,” Nancy continued.

Christine Michelle Duffy, Esq. has retired after 17 years of serving the nonprofit community and furthering the Partnership’s mission. Christine leaves behind a legacy of dedication and impact in both the nonprofit and legal communities. Nancy Eberhardt added, “Christine’s tireless advocacy and strategic leadership have left an indelible mark on the Partnership. We are deeply grateful for Christine’s contributions and wish Christine all the best in retirement. We’re also fortunate that Alexandra will pick up right where Christine left off, continuing to build on the foundation we’ve established.”

Alexandra brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Prior to joining the Partnership, Alexandra was in private practice specializing in commercial and construction litigation and corporate governance. Her diverse professional background also includes experience as a development specialist and fundraiser for The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Inc., and she continues to be involved with several charitable organizations throughout the tristate area. Alexandra is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, where she currently teaches its Transactional Law Clinic.
