On May 13, The Picture House in Pelham will present a special screening of Emily & Tim. The dramatic film tells the story of one couple over a period of 60 years – from the night they met into their twilight years. In a storytelling twist, the life of Emily and Tim is continuously manifested through six diverse couples, portrayed by 12 actors. These couples, each representing different ages, races and sexual orientations, interpret different stages of this long-term relationship – through love and hardship and everything in between. The star-studded cast includes Alexis Bledel, Zosia Mamet, Andre Braugher, Phylicia Rashad, and narration by Kathleen Turner. After the screening, The Picture House’s Director of Programming, Clayton Bushong, will lead a discussion and Q&A with Emily & Tim Director Eric Weber and Producer Bob Quinn.
