Students To Hone Journalism Skills With Master Photographer Rick Falco

Budding photographers can now develop their skills and gain valuable experience in ArtsWestchester’s internship program. With a focus on photojournalism, students will work with professional photographer,  filmmaker, and journalist Richard Falco to develop a photo essay about what brings a community together. They will collectively develop a theme, plan their project, and disperse throughout White Plains to photograph, interview and document subjects. Students will learn from Falco how to take and edit quality digital photographs while gaining job readiness and project management skills.

A special emphasis will be placed on teamwork, leadership and responsibility. ArtsWestchester’s education programs are supported by Sherry & Robert Wiener, Maxx Properties, First Niagara and Key Bank. Submit an application and resume to Jessica Cioffoletti at jcioffoletti@artswestchester.org or 914-428-4220 x314. A mandatory interview will be scheduled on Saturday, February 1. If you have a portfolio of photographs, please bring it to the interview. For more info, visit:  www.artswestchester.org/internships.
