Tourneau Watch Store in The Westchester Robbed at Gunpoint: Reports

No injuries were reported in the smash-and-grab robbery Sunday.

Three armed men robbed the high-end Tourneau watch store in The Westchester mall Sunday, in a brazen daylight smash-and-grab theft, according to News 12 Westchester.

No injuries were reported, but the White Plains Police Special Weapons and Tactics team responded to the scene en masse because initial reports were that shots were fired, but according to White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong shots were not fired.

“It set off a little bit of a panic inside the mall,” Chong told News 12. “People thought that the breaking glass was shots fired.”
