Dozens of Volunteer Opportunities for Teens and Young Adults Are Available Throughout Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam this Summer.

The Summer Volunteering Program from Volunteer New York! features dozens of seasonal youth and family friendly opportunities. Individuals can now find information about summer volunteering options that support a range of nonprofits at volunteernewyork.org/summer, as well as search through an online database of hundreds more. There are leadership opportunities, as well as ways to address specific causes, such as: Hunger-Relief, Senior Care, Environment, Animals, Education, Health, Community, the Arts and more.

"Summer is the perfect time to use your free time to help others and try new things, especially for students who are looking to gain community service experience," said Sephora Jean-Leger, Volunteer New York! Referral Manager.

Volunteer New York! offers a free one-on-one volunteer match-making service for all ages. To connect with a volunteer placement specialist call 914-948-4452 or email volunteer@volunteernewyork.org to schedule an appointment.
