Volunteer New York! Seeks MLK Day Volunteers
Dr. King once said, "The time is always right to do what's right." The time is now to join your community this weekend and make a difference
Volunteer New York! is calling on community members to spend a little of their Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend giving back to their community through service.
MLK Day is a National Day of Service meant to honor the legacy of Dr. King and move us closer to his vision of a “Beloved Community.”
Many opportunities are family-friendly and youth as young as 4 can volunteer with a parent. With over 20 local nonprofits participating, each volunteer project addressess a local community need. Information about all projects and registration can be found at www.volunteernewyork.org.
