“Our customers can count on us to deliver three things on Black Friday – we’re offering amazing prices, we bought deeper on the gifts they want, and we simplified the shopping experience in stores and online,” said Steve Bratspies, chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. in an online statement.

In Westchester County, Walmart has locations in White Plains and Mohegan Lake.

Some of the items on sale include markdowns on TVs and video games, as well as the popular Fitbit Flex Wristband for $59 and a Sky Viper drone for $25.

“Walmart will never be the retailer that broadcasts a great price on Black Friday and then ends up only having a few in stock,” said Bratspies. “We bought deep on televisions, toys and more to ensure hundreds of customers in a store – not tens of customers – get the gift they want.”

Target has also announced its Black Friday deals, while outdoor retailer REI is giving its employees Black Friday off.

Walmart is giving its employees who work on Black Friday additional pay, as well as a free dinner and discounts.
