Westchester County Offering Free Vaccine Clinics Through Summer
The vaccines will be offered in two locations.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Free summer vaccine clinics are being offered in Westchester County so residents can prepare for jobs, camp and the upcoming school year.
The Westchester County health Department will provide free immunizations by appointment on Fridays in White Plains and Yonkers on Fridays to adults, children and students of all ages who are uninsured or whose insurance doesn’t cover vaccines, according to information provided by the county.
County Executive Robert Astorino said vaccines help children stay healthy and students stay in school so they can learn.

“Before summer flies by, schedule a visit for the vaccines your children need to be ready for school this fall,” he said. “And vaccines aren’t just for kids. Adults need a variety of vaccines, too.”
Regulations for school admissions require schools to more closely scrutinize children’s immunization records and could result in children not being allowed to start or continue in school if immunizations are not up to date.
