Drum roll please. ArtsWestchester’s Arts Award winners have been selected (see the full list of honorees below) and will be feted at its annual Arts Award Luncheon on April 4 at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown. A highlight of the spring season in Westchester, this luncheon will bring together public officials, business leaders and arts enthusiasts to recognize eight individuals and organizations chosen for their outstanding contributions to the cultural life of Westchester. For the third year in a row, the title sponsor of the event is First Niagara Bank.
“This is our chance to take note of the abundant talent in Westchester and recognize those who have made a significant impact on the arts in our county,” says ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam. “This is ArtsWestchester’s version of the Academy Awards and we hope all will come out to pay tribute to this year’s deserving winners.”
Returning as the luncheon emcee will be Tony Aiello, CBS 2 Reporter, to welcome guests and to help honor this year’s award recipients. In keeping with ArtsWestchester’s current exhibition, HATtitude: The Milliner in Culture & Couture, hats will act as the theme for this year’s event. Guests are encouraged to don their own favorite headwear and make a fashion statement!
