players earn awards
The Catholic High School Football League gave out its awards, with Gilligan-Evans earning the Monsignor Peters Award as the league’s top student-athlete.
Taps was selected as the Vincent O’Connor Award winner, which goes to the CHSFL’s defensive player of the year.

The White Plains Ball-A-Holics are tied for first in the eighth-grade A division of the Tri-County Basketball League.
