If White Plains participates in one of the Section 1 boys championship games this school year, it won't have to travel to Rockland County.

That's because after being held at the Suffern Middle School Sports Complex in 2011, the games are returning to White Plains High School in the spring of '12 after a one-year hiatus.

White Plains' Saldivar an all-star
White Plains junior midfielder Cristofer Saldivar was one of the best players in Section 1 at his position and was recognized as such as he earned second team all-star honors by the LoHud Boys Soccer Blog.
Tigers' ice-hockey squad is ranked
White Plains is ranked No. 6 in the Division I poll in the LoHud Hockey Blog rankings.
