football players Caleb Gilligan-Evans and Austin Taps were honored when the National Football Foundation’s Westchester Chapter hosted its 39th annual awards banquet on Jan. 26 at the Westchester Country Club in Rye.
Giligan-Evans and Taps were both named Golden Dozen.

Boys hoop poll
White Plains' boys basketball squad continues to hold positions in the latest LoHud Varsity Insider poll.
The Tigers are "on the bubble" overall and No. 3 in the Class AA rankings.
Archbishop Stepinac is No. 2 overall and No. 1 in the CHSAA/Privates poll.
