The best in local boys and girls basketball, from Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and southern Dutchess, will be competing at the Westchester County Center in White Plains Feb. 27-March 4 in the Section 1 semifinals and finals for the right to hoist the Gold Ball.

In a home game with A.I.C. on the 18th, Andre Pope (WP-Iona Prep '09), point guard of St. Rose, had 1 trey, and had 3 boards, 4 assists,1 block, and 1 steal in the 56-52 win. The record is now 6-19:6-15.
