Ken Frawley (White Plains '08) off the St. Thomas Aquinas baseball team, with his team trailing Felician in the 3rd frame, 3-2, took over the mound chores and proceeded to pitch the next 3 innings, during which time he allowed only 1 hit and fanned 1 batter, while his teammates eventually topped their opponents, 10-9. In a 2nd win over Felician on the 11th, 9-8 in 8 innings, Frawley hurled 1 inning of relief, giving up 1 hit, 1 walk, and fanning 2 batter.
On the 8th, the Le Moyne team played two games with Wayne State of Nebraska, copping the first,1-0 and dropping the second, 3-1. In the opener, right fielder Matthew Ciraco (White Plains-Perkiomen '08) batted 1-2, scored 1 run , and had 1 walk. In the 2nd game, he went 0-3 and had 3 putouts and 1 assist in the field. At Savannah, Ga. on the 10th, in a 5-2 win over California of Pa., batted 1 for 4, scored a run, and fanned twice.
At C.W. Post on the 9th, Peter Martinez (White Plains '11) of Dominican, batted 1-3 and fanned once in the 8-0 loss. With Merrimac, he pinched hit and fanned in the 12-1 loss. On the 11th, in another game with Merrimac, he had 2 hits, walked once, and fanned twice, in the 8-6 loss.
In a 7-1 loss to Utah on the 11th, Zack Tax (White Plains-Rye Country Day '10) of Columbia came on in relief in the 6th frame with the score 3-1 Utes and with one out, and ended the inning by getting a batter to hit into a double play. In the 7th, he delivered a pitch that was hit over the wall, bringing in 3 runs for Utah. His stats were 4 runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 1 hit batter.
