Basketball

Cincinnati's men's basketball team, in its final game of the regular season, downed Villanova, 72-68, with Sean Kilpatrick (White Plains '08) of the winners scoring 13 points, plus having 4 rebounds and 4 assists in the win. He also was on the floor for 37 minutes, the longest for any other player in the game.

In his junior season on the Farmingdale basketball squad, Christian Nunez (White Plains '09) saw his team win the Skyline Championship on Feb. 25th, with an 83-64 win over Purchase, and with the guard going 2-2 at the foul line, plus having 1 rebound and 1 steal in the game. The record on the season was 22-5:12-2. Nunez played in 21 of the team's 27 games during the campaign.

State Hoops Tourney 

There is plenty of action in the New York State Basketball Tournament for both the boys and the girls.

White Plains is participating in the Tri-County Basketball League's playoffs.
