White Plains Honors Veterans At Annual Ceremony
White Plains has also created an assemblage of American flags along Main Street.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — The City of White Plains annual Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday on the front steps of City Hall, 255 Main Street. The event is organized each year by the Mayor’s Veterans Committee and will feature keynote speaker Walter J. Brady, a Vietnam Veteran.
This year, the Mayor’s Veterans Committee is recruiting active duty and retired veterans to join the city’s advisory board. The group helps plan and organize veteran events and activities in White Plains.
All residents and visitors are invited to come pay tribute to our veterans who have sacrificed so greatly.

Light refreshments and beverages will be served inside City Hall following the ceremony, compliments of the White Plains Veterans Committee.
As an additional tribute to our veterans, past and present, the City of White Plains has created an assemblage of American flags along Main Street. Flags representing each branch of the Armed Forces will be displayed at City Hall as well.
