White Plains Man, 28, Arrested on DWI Charge in Clarkstown

The incident occurred on I-87 on Saturday.

White Plains resident Gerardo Mendoza, 28, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated Saturday, June 20, in Clarkstown, according to state police.

Mendoza was pulled over on I-87 at about 5 p.m., and after determining that he appeared to be intoxicated, state police transported him to the Tarrytown station where he is alleged to have registered a blood alcohol level of 0.12 percent.

He was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on July 1 at 9:30 a.m.
