White Plains Raising Recreation Fees

The fee hikes could result in more than $60,000 in extra revenue.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — White Plains resident should be prepared to pay more for recreation and parks permits and programs. The fee hikes are expected to bring in $63,000 more in revenues during the next year.

Total revenues are projected to be $1.6 million from nearly 100 programs, activities and permits that serve all ages, the Journal News said.

Many of the fees have not been raised in years.
