White Plains was on its game Feb. 26 as it defeated Briarcliff 43-23 Feb. 26 to improve to 11-3 in the fifth grade A division of the Tri-County Basketball League.

Baseball

Senior Matthew Ciraco (White Plains-Perkiomen School '08) and the LeMoyne baseball team opened the season on the 18th, with a double header at Mount Olive (N.C.), and won both games. In the first game, an 8-6 win, the right fielder had 2 hits, scored a run, and fanned once. In the night cap, a 7-3 win, he had a single, scored a run, and had 1 run batted in.
