White Plains To Screen 'Black Panther' Outdoors

Popcorn will be provided, officials said.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The City of White Plains is hosting a free, outdoor screening of the Marvel mega-blockbuster "Black Panther" in the downtown area. The screening will be at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 on Court Street, between Main Street and Martine Avenue.

City officials said downtown White Plains will be transported into the heart of the battle for Wakanda's throne, Prince T'Challa defending his nation.

Adults, children and families are invited to bring a lawn chair and a blanket.

The movie and popcorn will be provided.

"Black Panther" is rated PG-13 and the run-time is 2 hours, 15 minutes.

Parking is available at the Lexington-Grove (Galleria) parking garage and the Court Street parking lot.

The rain date for this event is Saturday, Sept. 28.
