Stepinac Seniors Sign Letters of Intent

Three Stepinac seniors have signed National Letters of Intent to play football at college next fall.

Three Archbishop Stepinac High School seniors have signed National Letters of Intent to play for their college footballs teams next fall.

Jesse Gwin of Yonkers, who plays center for the school’s Crusaders football team, will bring his talents to C.W. Post, Przemyslaw Popek of Yonkers, a kicker, will play for the Seawolves at SUNY Stony Brook and Austin Taps of Mahopac, a tight and defensive end, will join the University of Pennsylvania team.

The three were joined by their parents, fellow students and members of the faculty, administration and coaching staff at a ceremony held on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at Stepinac’s gymnasium.
