White Plains' Thanksgiving Day Forecast and Beyond

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The Hudson Valley is looking at a mixed bag weather-wise for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Indeed, some of the region is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook with a slight chance of a light wintry blend of snow, sleet and freezing rain developing late Wednesday and continuing into early Thursday morning.

The chance of some form of precipitation — whether it’s rain or, in the more northern areas, snow — will continue into the midday Saturday, leaving Sunday the only day where sunshine will predominate.

• This Afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 43. Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph.
• Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Thanksgiving Day: A chance of sprinkles before noon, then a chance of light rain after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 46. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Thursday Night: A chance of drizzle. Cloudy, with a low around 39. Northeast wind 3 to 5 mph.
• Friday: A chance of sprinkles before noon, then a chance of showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Friday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.
• Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers before 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 49.
• Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34.
