White Plains Weather: Coldest Air of the Season Blows In

We let you know the forecast for the work week (and what to expect on Halloween).

WHITE PLAINS, NY — It’s been so warm in September and October around Westchester that we can honestly say that with high temps forecast for only the upper 40s later this week, we're going to feel like it's freezing.

In fact, with windy conditions forecast, specially on Tuesday and Wednesday, it will feel freezing.

"One quick look at the jet stream, and the projected temperatures compared to average… and you can see that the entire Northeast, including the Hudson Valley, is in for a cold week," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "Tuesday will likely not make it out of the upper 40s for highs, and with a strong NW wind on Tuesday, it could feel more like the upper 30s and low 40s...with Wednesday even colder than Tuesday."

Of course, with the Hudson Valley still in a drought more rain would be nice; but, once again no significant precipitation is in the forecast, just scattered showers possible on Thursday.
