WHITE PLAINS, NY — They don't call them the dog days of summer for no reason. All White Plains pooches are invited to take a dip in a city pool from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5.

The Kittrell Pool on Fisher Avenue will host the event designed for man's best friend.

The pool will be open to all City of White Plains licensed dogs with owners 16 and older.
