Tennis
In a match on the 22nd, Andres Restrepo (White Plains '11) of Lehman College fell to the U.S. Maritime Academy, 6-3, as he lost his singles match,6-1, 6-3, while he and his doubles partner prevailed in their event, 8-4.
The Lightning are 0-4 thus far on the season.
Baseball
In a double win with Merrimac on the 24th, LeMoyne designated hitter Matthew Ciraco (White Plains-Perkiomen School '08) had a most productive day, as in the first game, an 11-2 win, he batted 2-4, scored a run, and fanned once, while in the 10-0 nightcap, he went 2-3, hit a round tripper, scored 2 runs, and had 2 r.b.i.s.
Playing two with Mass-Lowell on the 25th, LeMoyne swept this pair, 10-0 and 5-4, with Ciraco hitting a two bagger and scoring 1 run, while in the 2nd game, a 5-4 triumph, he walked and fanned once apiece. The record is now 16-4.
