Winter Weather Advisory Issued for White Plains
Accumulating snow is on its way, here's the latest on how much and a timeline of when it will arrive in White Plains and Valhalla.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Sure, it’s freezing out, temps in parts of the Hudson Valley were near zero Friday morning and the wind chill factor was below zero in most places, but now all eyes turn to snow that is expected to arrive early Saturday.
For the first time this season, all of Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester will wake up to snow on the ground — for one thing, because we're expecting 2-6 inches, depending on where you live, and for another thing, because it's so cold that snow will stick to every kind of surface.
"The difference only amounts to an inch or so of snow accumulation," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "All areas will see similar treacherous travel conditions."

For Rockland and Westchester counties, the NWS estimates snow accumulation at 2-4 inches, with a few hundredths of an inch of ice. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s.
