World Religions, Personal Beliefs Highlighted at Children's RE Open House, Sun., Sept. 27

The Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at White Plains will hold an Open House for its Children's Religious Education program.

The Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at White Plains (‘CUUC’) will hold an Open House for its K through 12 Religious Education program on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 9:30 AM.

Parents and their families are invited to discover religious education classes that encourage children and youth to explore their sense of wonder and develop their personal ethics.

Children learn the roots of world religions, openly consider life’s questions in an accepting community, gain wisdom in self-discovery, and are empowered to make a difference in the world.

What Children and Youth Experience

On Sunday, classes for different age groups include experiential activities with art, music, games, role play, and dramatic expression, through which children:

About the Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at White Plains (formerly Communitarian Unitarian Church at White Plains )

Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion that draws from various sources, including JudeoChristian and humanist teachings. CUUC was founded in 1909 as a Sunday school and has continued to be dedicated to its religious education programs. We are a welcoming, multi-generational congregation that embraces diversity. CUUC’s congregants come from throughout Westchester County and the tri-state area.
