YWCA Twice the Fun: On the Road to Preschool

For our Pre-School Set ages 20 to 36 months

Tuesdays 9:15-10:30
YWCA, 515 North Street, White Plains, NY 10605

Ever wonder why we call it Twice the Fun? Because it is fun for your child and for you!

This gentle separation program introduces your child to the preschool setting with opportunities to explore activities and learning structure of the early education classroom.

They get to experience a mini preschool schedule in this brief time frame that mimics the classroom, from greeting to snack time.

At the same time, caregivers are involved in activities and are also able to sit separately (but in the same room) to discuss relevant parenting topics.

In this group, weekly sessions will focus on relevant themes, many that are suggested by group members. Topics focus on your development as a parent/caregiver and your child’s development into a preschooler. This includes concerns about your child transitioning to the classroom setting in an early education program.

While your children are engaged, you will be too, with peers and new friends exploring the joys and challenges of raising “Good Citizens of the World” as well as making it through the day!

Fees: $200 for members; $245 for non-members

Course dates (8 weeks): October 20 – December 9, 2015 (includes Election Day)
