L Train Riders Face 'Extensive Delays' During Rush Hour, MTA Says
A train with mechanical problems at Montrose Avenue brought L train service to a halt Monday morning, the MTA announced.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — L train riders faced “extensive delays” during their Monday morning commute after a train with mechanical problems stalled traffic, according to the MTA.
L trains service stopped running between Myrtle and Eighth avenues around 7:10 a.m. when a train stalled in the Montrose Avenue station, the MTA announced on Twitter.

Service resumed by 8 a.m., but the MTA warned straphangers that residual delays would be extensive.
