Man Found Fatally Shot In Williamsburg Apartment Building: Cops

The 27-year-old was lying in the hallway with a gunshot wound when police found him Saturday.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A 27-year-old from Bed-stuy died on Saturday after he was found shot inside a Williamsburg apartment building, police said.

Police were called to the 280 Frost St. building just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived, they found Daryl Eleam in the third-floor hallway with a gunshot wound to his torso.

Eleam was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Records show that Eleam lived nearby on Vernon Avenue in Bed-stuy.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide. The investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests made yet, police said.
