L Train Service To Manhattan Suspended During Thursday Morning Commute, MTA Says
The MTA stopped Manhattan-bound service between the Myrtle Wyckoff Avenues station in Brooklyn and the Eighth Avenue station in Manhattan.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Manhattan-bound L train service was suspended during rush hour Thursday after a train stalled at the Bedford Avenue station, according to the MTA.
The agency reported an L train with mechanical problems on the Manhattan-bound track of the Bedford Avenue station around 8:15 a.m. on the MTA website.
An update on Twitter 15 minutes later warned there would be no service between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues in Brooklyn and Eighth Avenue in Manhattan.

The MTA advised Brooklyn commuters to take the A, C, G, J, M or Z trains and that Manhattan commuters take the 14th Street bus.
