Pulaski Bridge Road Sign Tells Greenpoint, 'F--- Trump'
A public road sign had a blunt message for the nation's president.

GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN -- For President Donald Trump, this isn't a good sign.
A light-up billboard on the Pulaski Bridge that was meant to direct traffic was hacked this week to tell passers by, "F--- Trump," locals said.
Several Greenpoint residents started posting photos of the sign, which sits on the Pulaski Bridge near Eagle Street and McGuinness Boulevard and usually tells oncoming traffic that the building is closed, on Wednesday night.

The Pulaski Bridge began closing Tuesdays through Fridays on Aug. 14 so that the Department of Transportation could make improvements to pedestrian and bike lanes, according to the agency website.
It is slated to open to the public again on Sept. 7.
A DOT spokesperson told Patch the sign does not belong to the agency and is the responsibility of the contractor who owns it.
But one New Yorker snapped a photo of what appears to be a city official tinkering with the back of the errant billboard.
"A DOT guy is trying to turn it off," wrote @newyorks---ty on Twitter. "He says he doesn't know how. Lol"
