Williamsburg Affordable Housing Lottery Ends Next Week: What To Know

The development is offering six affordable apartments.

BROOKLYN, NY — Six affordable apartments are available at 229 Wythe Avenue in North Williamsburg through New York City’s Housing Connect program.

The development is offering three one-bedroom apartments at $1,574 per month and three two-bedroom apartments at $1,798 per month. The apartments feature contemporary finishes, energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, dishwashers and in-unit washers and dryers.

Eligible households must meet income and household-size requirements. For the one-bedroom units, annual household income ranges from $62,606 to $91,620, depending on household size. Two-bedroom units are available to households earning between $75,223 and $109,920 annually.

Amenities include a fitness center, outdoor and rooftop terraces, bike storage, package lockers, high-speed internet, security cameras and elevator access. Fees apply for the fitness center and outdoor terrace.

Preference will be given to a percentage of units for Brooklyn Community Board 1 residents, as well as municipal employees and military veterans. No application fees or deposits are required.

Applications and additional information are available through NYC Housing Connect and are due by September 2.
