Williamsburg Thief Takes 15 Laptops, iPads From App Developers

The man hit up "Fuzz" mobile app development company on Roebling Street twice this month and walked away with 15 computers, police said.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man that stole more than a dozen laptops from an app development company on Roebling Street.

The man, caught in a surveillance camera, went into the mobile development company Fuzz's location at 158 Roebling Street around 6:45 p.m. on Feb. 4. He walked around the company's space and took six MacBook computers with him before leaving, police said.

Only two weeks later, around 7:35 p.m. this Monday, the same man came back to the company. This time, he made it out with nine MacBooks, an iPad Pro and a Pixel cellphone before leaving, police said.

Police didn't immediately provide details as to how the man was able to take the technology unnoticed from the company's space. Fuzz is an iOS and Android app development company, according to its website.

"Fuzz is a best in class agency providing innovative mobile app and website development, design, and strategy services to enterprises and startups," its website says.
