Woman's Nose Broken By Angry Straphanger In Williamsburg Subway, Police Say
Police are looking for a woman who choked, punched and kicked another woman for bumping into her in the Metropolitan Avenue station Friday.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — A furious straphanger choked a woman and broke her nose because she bumped into her in a Williamsburg subway station Friday morning, said police.
The woman became outraged after she collided with a 26-year-old exiting a southbound G train at the Metropolitan Avenue station around 8:45 a.m. Friday, said police.
The woman followed the 26-year-old up the subway stairs, swearing and threatening to slap her, then grabbed her by the neck and began to choke her, said police.

Another passenger stepped in and pulled the woman away, but she continued to follow her victim to a bench on the L train platform where she attacked once again, police said.
She punched the woman repeatedly in the face, broke her nose, kicked her in the back then fled the station, jumped into a car and sped away, said police.

Her victim, who was able to snap a photo of her attacker, was taken to Woodhull Hospital for treatment, said police.
Police describe the suspect as a woman in her late thirties standing about 5-foot-5, weighing about 155 pounds, last seen wearing a black tank top, dark red pants and brown boots.
