Would-Be Rapist Kicked In Groin As He Attacks Woman, Video Shows
A 27-year-old woman fought off the man who tried to rape her in Williamsburg Thursday morning, police said.

EAST WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN -- Police are hunting for a would-be rapist who lunged at a woman in East Williamsburg Thursday morning and ripped off her clothes.
Surveillance video of the attack shows the woman struggling with the man and managing to kick him in the groin, leaving him momentarily doubled over before he continues to assault her.
The suspect snuck up behind a 27-year-old woman up near Richardson Street and Kingsland Avenue at about 2:15 a.m., police said.

The unidentified man shoved the woman against a wall, took off her underwear and tried to rape her, police said.
The woman was able to fight him off — even though he knocked her to the ground — and he ran away down Richardson Street and jumped into a dark four-door sedan, said police.

The woman was treated at an area hospital and police are now looking for a suspect who wore dark clothing and work boots.
