Cops Nab Man Who Grabbed Young Girl From Behind
Janos Meszakos was charged with groping an 11-year-old girl in Brooklyn last week, according to police.
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — The man who terrified an 11-year-old girl when he snuck up and grabbed her from behind her has been arrested, according to police.
Janos Meszakos, 65, was arrested Wednesday and charged with groping the little girl near the corner of 18th Avenue and 66th Street at about 3:40 p.m. on May 23, said police.
Meszakos crept up from behind then suddenly grabbed the 11-year-old's buttocks, police said. The scared girl leapt away from him and fled down the street.

Police arrested Meszakos one week later at about 11 p.m. and charged him with sex abuse, forcible touching, harassment and other charges.
