Credit Card Hacking
A 55-year-old Kensington man walked into the 66th Precinct station house earlier this month to report that someone had used his credit card information to charge almost $12,000 in merchandise from an Apple store.

The victim, who lives between Clara St. and Dahill Rd., told cops on March 2 he received word from his bank's fraud department that the thief opened an online account a couple weeks earlier using the victim's information and requested a new credit card be sent, according to a police report.
Once the thief got the new card in hand and made $11,862 in purchases from the Apple store.

No arrests have been made.
Two Burglaries in One Day
Two Kensington residents had their homes broken into in separate instances on the same day earlier this month, cops said.
In the first incident, a 21-year-old woman living between Ave C and East 3rd St. said someone climbed into her apartment through an open side window on March 1, stole cash, electronics and jewelry and took off through a back door.
That same day, a 34-year-old man reported that someone broke into his apartment between Ocean Parkway & Ave. C through an open kitchen window and snatched cash, electronics and a cell phone, according to a police report.
It was not clear if the two incidents were related and no arrests have been made.
Cash and Gold Grab
A 71-year-old woman had cash and gold stolen from her apartment when she was out of town at a family funeral.
The woman was in New Hampshire to be with family and when she returned to her apartment between Ocean Parkway and Beverly Rd. on Feb. 27, she saw her door and windows were left open.
Neighbors said they didn't hear anything during the time she was away. No arrests have been made.
