Teens Threaten Brooklyn School Shooting After Florida, NYPD Says
"We're gunning down tmrw," the teens wrote, according to police. "Don't come to school tomorrow."

WINDSOR TERRACE, BROOKLYN — Two teenagers threatened to shoot up their Windsor Terrace charter school about an hour after the mass shooting in Florida, police said.
Two 16-year-olds threatened Brooklyn Prospect Charter School students with photos of an AR-15 style weapon around 4 p.m. Wednesday, just as news was breaking that 17 people had died in a Florida school shooting, police said
“We're gunning down tmrw,” the teens allegedly wrote. “Don't come to school tomorrow.”

Someone called 911 after spotting the messages on SnapChat and officials at Brooklyn Prospect Charter School contacted parents, according to the New York Times.
Police arrested the teens Thursday morning and charged them with terrorist criminal threat, aggravated harassment and criminal possession of a weapon, said police.

Police recovered an air rifle from the teens and an NYPD source told the Daily News, “They were just being stupid.”
