• Fast-and-Furious fools wreak havoc in Long Island street takeover that ends with arrests, gaudy 'race car' towed (nypost.com) — Late Sunday night, Suffolk police broke up an illegal street takeover on Express Drive North in Yaphank, arresting four out-of-state drivers and impounding a truck, trailer, and race car. The bust followed a 911 call about dozens of spectators and modified cars racing and revving engines, highlighting ongoing concerns about dangerous street takeovers in the area.
