• Revolutionary War Skirmishes, Musket Fire & Period Costumes to Transform Yorktown for 250th Revolutionary Anniversary (yonkerstimes.com) — Yorktown Heights will turn back the clock this weekend as Rochambeau Park hosts the 4th Annual Rochambeau Festival, complete with Revolutionary War skirmish reenactments, musket fire, and a colonial encampment. Families can explore living‑history displays, crafts, and games from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, then cap Saturday with a candlelit Colonial Twilight Dinner featuring period music.
   

• Here is the 2026 All-Section 1 boys lacrosse team (lohud.com) — Yorktown boys lacrosse fans can celebrate several Huskers named to the 2026 All‑Section 1 team, including standouts at attack, midfield, defense and faceoff. The list recognizes 62 top players from across Section 1, with 30 from regional powers like Yorktown, Mamaroneck, Rye and Bronxville heading to Middletown this weekend for NYSPHSAA regional title games.
