Yorktown man charged after fatal shooting of dog sparks community outcry (news12.com) — Yorktown residents are reacting strongly after an unhoused local man’s dog was fatally shot near Route 118, leading to felony charges against another resident. Community members and town officials describe the loss as deeply upsetting, with many stopping by to support the owner and share memories of the well-known dog.
