$1,600 Leaf-Blower Stolen, Man Charged

Christopher Ahlstedt, 38, of Shrub Oak, faces a charge of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Yorktown police were called Oct. 27 to Quality Lawn Mower Service on Crompond Road to investigate an allegation that a man had taken a $1,600 leaf blower without paying.

He was located down the road and taken into custody. Ahlstedt was released without bail and is due in Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 2.
